SANNE Widens European, Asian Footprint With New Offices

SANNE, which provides alternative asset and corporate services, has opened a new office in Amsterdam, coinciding with a parallel announcement that it has also started operating in Tokyo.

The Amsterdam office adds to locations in other parts of Europe, such as London, Dublin, Luxembourg, Madrid, Paris and the Channel Islands. The firm said that the office creates more opportunities for European Union-focused business in the wake of the UK exit from the bloc at the end of March.

Yasemin Demirtas, director and country head for the Netherlands, will be based in the Amsterdam office managing the permanent staff.

The core services being offered from the new office will include the administration of special purpose vehicles across a number of specialisms including real estate, private equity, private debt and capital markets. The Amsterdam office will also work with other European-based offices to provide complementary services including, alternative investment fund managers' services , loan agency services, AIFMD compliant depositary services and accounting and regulatory reporting services .

Separately, as reported earlier, the firm has also opened a new office in Tokyo, and hired Mark Bennett as country head of its Japanese business. The office adds to SANNE’s other Asia locations: it has opened offices in Shanghai, Hong Kong and Singapore.
